Overview
Performance alerts appear in your Lead Inbox when specific issues are affecting your visibility and inbound lead volumes on Hotel Tech Report. These alerts provide actionable insights to help you optimize your profile and maximize lead generation.
1. How to View Your Alerts
Navigate to Lead Inbox in your vendor dashboard
Look for the alert indicator in the upper right section showing the number of active alerts
Hover over the alert count to see details about each issue
Review the specific data and recommendations for each alert
2. What Gets Monitored
At the beginning of each month, we automatically analyze your account across three key performance areas:
a. Product Rankings & Reputation
What we track: The number of your products that rank in the top 3 within their respective categories
When you'll see an alert: If one or more of your products fall outside the top 3 rankings in their category
Why it matters: Products ranked in the top 3 receive significantly more visibility with buyers browsing category pages, directly impacting your lead volume.
Example alert: "1/1 of your products didn't rank in the top 3 which limited your visibility."
b. Targeting Coverage (Instant Connect)
What we track: The percentage of available segments you've enabled for Instant Connect across your product categories
When you'll see an alert: If you have less than 50% of segments enabled for Instant Connect
Why it matters: Enabling more segments expands your targeting criteria, allowing you to capture a wider range of qualified leads that match your ideal customer profile.
Example alert: "Your targeting was too narrow - Your targeting criteria was enabled for less than 50% of segments which limited your visibility."
c. Membership Status
What we track: Whether you had an active Premium membership during the month
When you'll see an alert: If you're on a Basic membership plan
Why it matters: Premium members receive boosted visibility in non-rank-based locations across Hotel Tech Report, increasing impression opportunities and lead potential. Learn more about Premium visibility benefits.
