As a hotelier, once you request price quotes or demos on Hotel Tech Report you'll be routed to a confirmation page that looks like the one shown below which includes:
Best Fit Vendor Analysis. At the bottom of the page includes an in-depth report with analysis of which vendors are the best fit for your hotel in your category of interest.
Quote Confirmations. At top of the page you will see the quote/demo confirmation widget.
Vendor Statuses & Response Times. Within the quote confirmation widget you can click to expand where you'll be able to see each of the vendors you requested info from as well as their average response time and current status of their followup.
What Each Status Means:
Status | What it means |
Reviewing request | Your request is pending (the respective vendor has 72-hours to review it) |
Preparing quote | The vendor has reviewed your request and is preparing your quote |
Quote sent | The vendor has reviewed your request and followed up with you via email |
Declined | The vendor reviewed your request and deemed your hotel not to be a good fit for them to connect with as a potential customer |
How can vendors monitor their response times and lead acceptance rates that show to hoteliers?
As a vendor you can monitor both of these metrics from the home screen of the lead inbox in the vendor dashboard (see below).
Metric | Calculation | Why its important |
Response time calculation | Average time to accept a lead | Faster responses deliver better service to hoteliers and put you at an advantage to other providers the lead may have reached out to which increases your chance of closing more deals |
Response rate calculation | # of Accepted Leads / Total Leads | Response rate is another indicator to hoteliers of the likelihood that you will respond to their inquiry and the service level you provide |
