The Review Sync API is a Premium feature that enables companies to send data from new reviews to Zapier reviews for you to be able to sync data with your 3rd party tools.

Use Case #4: Send rejected reviews to a Trello board for your support team to upload manual verification
2. How it Works
Reach out to HTR to request the data licensing agreement that your company will need to sign prior to API access being enabled
Go to the HTR Zapier private app page and authorize your account
Click 'create zap' and search for 'Hotel Tech Report' as the trigger app
Authorize Zapier to connect to your HTR account
Select the 'Review updated' trigger event
Add steps to sync your review data to other apps like CRMs, Spreadsheets, Slack notifications, BI tools and thousands more
Note: Make sure you're on an eligible plan or purchase API access or you will not be able to enable this feature on your account

5. Data Licensing Agreement
Please note that prior to utilizing this API you will be required to sign a Data Licensing Contract to agree to and acknowledge permitted use cases. Here is an overview of the key acknowledgements of the agreement.
I acknowledge I can use the API/data only within my business and approved apps
I acknowledge I cannot share, resell, or create competing products with the data.
I acknowledge I must credit “Powered by HotelTechReport” and delete data if access ends.
I acknowledge Hotel Tech Report owns all data and branding.
I acknowledge misuse may result in penalties, audits, or termination of access.
👉 In short: You can ONLY use the API/data for internal purposes. You cannot share, resell, or syndicate data or content retrieved to 3rd party websites that may compete with Hotel Tech Report or utilize the data in a way that can negatively impact Hotel Tech Report and undermine its investments in verifications, moderation, review campaigns and platform development. Significant penalties will be incurred for breach of agreement.
