This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions governing the submission and dissemination of advertising content and campaigns by Advertisers and HotelTechReport's audience. By submitting advertising content or initiating a campaign, the Advertiser agrees to adhere to the following stipulations:
Introduction
Welcome to the Advertising Content and Campaign Agreement of HotelTechReport ("HTR"). At HTR, we are committed to delivering the highest quality content to our audience while ensuring that our clients experience optimal performance in their advertising campaigns. This Agreement outlines the standards and guidelines that govern the submission and distribution of advertising content and campaigns through our platform. The stipulations contained herein are crafted with the following key objectives in mind:
Ensuring High-Quality Content Distribution: Our audience expects and deserves content that is not only informative but also current, relevant, and engaging. HTR is dedicated to upholding these standards of content quality. This Agreement serves to ensure that all advertising materials meet our stringent criteria, thus maintaining the integrity and value that our audience has come to expect from us.
Optimizing Client Campaign Performance: We understand the significance of achieving measurable and impactful results through advertising campaigns. This Agreement is structured to ensure that our clients’ campaigns are set up for success, focusing on strategies and approaches that are known to yield optimal performance in terms of engagement and lead generation.
Preserving Brand Integrity: The reputation and brand image of both HotelTechReport and our esteemed clients are of utmost importance. Through this Agreement, we aim to foster a cooperative environment where the branding and promotional strategies of our clients are harmoniously aligned with the values and expectations of the HTR audience. This not only protects the brands involved but also enhances the overall effectiveness of the advertising content.
By setting forth these terms, we seek to create a transparent, effective, and mutually beneficial relationship with our clients. We believe that a clear understanding and adherence to these guidelines will pave the way for successful advertising campaigns that meet the high standards of our audience and the objectives of our clients.
We invite you to read the following terms and conditions carefully and join us in our commitment to quality, performance, and brand preservation.
Terms and Conditions
Current Content Requirement: The Advertiser agrees to ensure that all content provided for advertising purposes is current and relevant. Content deemed outdated, such as reports or studies conducted or published in a significantly prior period, will not be accepted for dissemination.
Restriction on Hard Sell Tactics: The use of aggressive sales tactics, commonly known as "hard sells," in advertising content is strictly prohibited unless explicit, prior approval is obtained from HTR Management. Such approval must be documented in writing and be specific to each individual campaign where hard sell tactics are proposed.
Mandatory Promotion of Lead Generation Magnets: The Advertiser agrees that all display campaigns, including but not limited to email blasts (eblasts) and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, must primarily promote lead generation magnets. The intent should be to provide value and engagement to the audience, rather than direct or hard sell tactics.
Final Discretion and Content Veto: HTR Management reserves the right of final discretion concerning all advertising content and campaigns intended for its audience. Should HTR Management decide to veto any submitted content or initiated campaign, the Advertiser will be provided with 2-3 alternative content options deemed more appropriate and compelling for the audience. The Advertiser will then have the opportunity to select from these alternatives for their campaign.
Client Content Development Restriction: Under no circumstances may the Advertiser develop content that is directly sent to HTR's audience, with the sole exception being sponsored retargeting campaigns. This is to ensure that all content disseminated through HTR's channels meets our stringent quality and branding standards.
Right to Reject Inappropriate Feedback: HTR reserves the right to reject any feedback or content amendments proposed by the Advertiser if deemed overly promotional, factually incorrect, or potentially misrepresentative of their offerings to our valued hotelier audience. This measure is to ensure that all information presented remains accurate, unbiased, and in the best interest of our audience.
Performance Review and A/B Testing for Site Takeover Campaigns: For site takeover campaigns sold prior to September 1, 2025, the following terms apply: such campaigns are sold on a pay-per-click basis, with a delivery cadence of two hundred fifty (250) clicks every two (2) weeks. In the event that a Client’s campaign underdelivers or runs over its allocated timeframe, HotelTechReport shall pause the campaign and rotate to the next scheduled Client in order to ensure efficient delivery of all campaigns. The remainder of the Client’s campaign will be delivered in the next available slot, targeted within sixty (60) to ninety (90) days of the pause. Campaigns yielding a click-through rate (“CTR”) of less than zero point six percent (0.6%) typically experience such pauses. While HotelTechReport will use commercially reasonable efforts to A/B test creative in order to improve campaign performance, HotelTechReport makes no guarantee that such efforts will result in a CTR at or above the stated threshold, as HotelTechReport does not control the Client’s content.
For site takeover campaigns sold on or after September 1, 2025, the following terms apply: such campaigns are sold on a time-duration basis rather than per-click, and Clients may purchase such campaigns in increments of two (2) weeks or four (4) weeks.
